The way one judges is the way one will be judged;
As one is forgiveing he will be forgiven
As one gives, much more will be given by our wonderful GOD & COUNSELOR
We want to use this page to share with visitors the history of our primary donors who made this ministry possible from its conception and to honor our future donors by introducing them to our community for all of their commitment, beginning with our Voting Board of Directors who each commit to this ministry at the very least $100 each month or $1200 each year. Each of our Voting Board of Directors also commit to their passion for the work that we do, by donating their time and resources at every possible opportunity.
We also want to honor our members who commit to devoting their time and resources at every possible opportunity and who commit financial support each month in the amount of $35 or annually $420. Each of these are serious partners with us in this God given Vision of the Healing ministry.
If you feel the compelling voice of GOD inviting you to partner with us in our healing ministry, just begin now as one of our Members by committing at least $35 per month to allow us to bring healing to those in bondage to a Mental Health diagnosis or enslaved in addictions, whatever they may be. Join us now as we are experiencing complete healing by God’s Grace to at least 80% of our residents. Call us now at the Ranch of Recovery @ (423) 973-1114 with your Monthly pledge. Each member receives either a long sleeve or short sleeve T Shirt showing your support
Perhaps God is calling you to serve on our Voting Board of Directors. He may have created you for this specific purpose. Perhaps He has gifted you with talents needed in His Kindom work here at the Ranch of Recovery? We need volunteers of every sort now, those who have talents such as construction background, teaching, managing or perhaps you have talent in legal matters? Maybe you have talents in grant writing or accounting? Maybe you have a life skill you might teach one or more of our residents?
Maybe you are a wonderful cook and love sharing. Today we are providing three meals each day for as many as 20 residents, and for evenings we do Church or other community events such as “The Experiencing God” study or “Celebrate Recovery” we are providing many more meals each of these evenings. For a donation of just $2.46 we can provide a meal for a resident! Please donate today by calling our Recovery Ranch @ (423-973-1114 with your pledge now or going to our "Cantact US Page" and filling out form with your intentions of future donations.
Because of the very nature of our residents, we must have volunteers to just sit and supervise our residents, perhaps play some games with them or watch a movie. The main thing is sharing the LOVE OF CHRIST OUR LORD WITH our residents in this very practical way.
Use your God given imagination! You must have been given some talent that God wants you to use with Hope Retreat Ranch Recovery Center?
Remember that it is because God so loved us so much even while we were still sinners that we love Him so much now. This ministry may just be what you have been seeking as one of your acts of Worship!
Please go now to our “Contact US Page” and fill out the form leaving any response God has laid upon your heart. Share with us a little about yourself so that we may begin a loving relationship with you. Ask us to add you to our monthly news letter to keep you up to date on events going on around the ranch. Or simply call us at the ranch @ (423) 973-1114 with any kind of donation you are able to give to this ministry or become one of our partner members, either a "Voting Member" or "Regular Member". Remember; each member giver receives either a short Sleeve or Long Sleeve T-Shirt to show off your support of our ministry.
Introduction to Our Original Donors
Dr. Randall & Pastor/Counselor Rebekah Maxwell MCC
Dr. Maxwell's Mom/ Mrs Darlene Rainey
Rebekah's Great Aunt/ Ila Mae Cooper
Over the last 20 years this ministry has been completely supported by Dr. Randall Maxwell and his family, his mother Mrs. Darlene Rainey. Since, back in 2007 Pastor Rebekah Maxwell who would become our Senior Counselor’s wife after she had experienced complete healing while she was one of our residents at our Christ Centered Recovery Center while we were still in Nashville Tennessee, It was then that she and her family (Her Great Aunt Ila Mae Cooper) began to contribute to the ministry also along with Dr. Maxwell.
The Maxwells; Dr. Randall & Women's Pastor Rebekah
Dr. Maxwell and his lovely wife Rebekah and their families continued to be the only support for this ministry until in 2007 Dr. Maxwell’s mother Mrs. Darlene Rainey died after her stroke in 2006. Her passing was devastating to our family!
Mrs. Darlene Rainey lived out a life serving the LORD JESUS, always teaching a Sunday School class in her local church family as well her work in all kinds of notable charities such as the American Heart Association and Cancer charities. Along with her husband, Dr. Maxwell’s step father where instrumental in the beginning of the Nashville Rescue Mission which started in a smaller house than any on our houses on the Ranch today, that has now blossomed into a thriving ministry which has a Christ Centered Recovery for both men and women, as well houses on a daily basis up to 600 men who are homeless and up to 250 women. Remarkable what the Lord can do with a willing heart devoted to HIS KINGDOM. Mrs. Rainey also began the woman’s work at the mission and was the only female executive board member for many years, certainly to this day the longest serving board member.
Mrs. Rainey also believed in hard work every day to enable her to give back to her community so generously as she was able to do. She eventually retired from Tree International Music Publishing Company where she served as their controller & CPA before their sale to the Japanese and it becoming “Sony Tree”. Mrs. Rainey was also the very first woman to pass her CPA exam in the State of Georgia.
All said of Mrs. Rainey can be said also of Bekah’s Great Aunt, Miss. Ala Mae Cooper. She too lived out her life loving the LORD JESUS CHRIST through serving others. Ila too was a champion for charities such as American Heart Association & different cancer charities. It was never uncommon to see her stop by someone on the street who she felt might be hungry to feed them.
Like Mrs. Rainey, Ila Mae Cooper was a long time member of the BPW (Business & Professional Woman’s Club. Each of these wonderful ladies were women leaders in their chosen professions before a time women were leaders in business.
